With 20+ years across roles from developer and tester to project/engineering leadership, Joel has led teams in industries including telecom, government, finance, defence, and aerospace. Joel co-founded the Portuguese Software Testing and Qualifications Board (PSTQB) after launching Portugal’s first online testing community, and he is an active public speaker and trainer. His recent work and sessions span API test automation and how testing is evolving in an AI-driven world.
