AI is increasingly used to help testers in their daily work. This session puts the most common AIs to the test through direct conversation — probing their points of view, exposing their limits, and challenging their reliability.

Do AIs lie to us? Do they keep their promises? Are they as impartial as we would like them to be? And does the fact that they increasingly feed on their own generated content affect the quality and reliability of their results?

Through concrete examples, this talk offers a fresh eye-opener on the boundaries we need to watch with our new AI collaborators — and the critical thinking testers must bring to every interaction with them.

Olivier served as President of the ISTQB from May 2019 to April 2023 and is currently Vice President of the ISTQB. He is also President of the CFTL, the French ISTQB Board, and the official IREB, IQBBA, and TMMi representative in France.

The CFTL organizes the largest software testing conference in Europe, JFTL, with more than 1,200 attendees.

Olivier is also Vice President of ps_testware SAS, the French subsidiary of the ps_testware Group. In this role, he focuses on business development, recruiting local expert teams, building sustainable partnerships, and promoting software testing and quality. He is additionally involved in auditing test projects and organizations, providing high-level consultancy and support.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Olivier is an international speaker who has presented at numerous conferences, including A4Q World Conference, Geekle QA, iSQE, Test-IT Africa, SQA Days, BA Days, JFIE, TestWarez, SEETEST, STF, Iqnite, JFTL, JMTL, JTTL, Analyst Days, Quality Week, EuroSTAR, and DASIA.

He is also actively involved in the development of new certification schemes such as IQBBA (Business Analysis) and IREB (Requirements Engineering), and is a co-author of several books and articles on software testing.
