Eleven speakers from ten countries, one room, and by mid-morning the day had picked its argument: what happens to a tester when the agents arrive.
Szilárd Széll opened by showing that autonomous agents do not remove the oracle and communication problems — they sharpen them. Nine hours later Nishan Portoyan closed on the same fault line from the human side. In between, the programme kept refusing the easy answer: Michaël Pilaeten took apart the automation myths teams still buy, Joel Oliveira showed what performance testing actually looks like across fifty applications and imperfect environments, and Richard Seidl made the case that AI mostly amplifies whatever team dynamics you already had.
The longest conversations were not on stage at all. They were in the corridor after the trivia round, and downstairs at Fail Nights, where the failures got said out loud. Signal over noise — that was the standard, and the room held it.

Fail Nights 2026
From 19:00 the room changed its rules. Speakers came up to tell the story of something that had gone genuinely wrong in their own work — no lessons-learned slide, no tidy ending, no interference.
The audience laughed in the places that hurt, and more than one person left saying they had recognised their own project in somebody else's failure. It is still the only event of this format in Lithuania.
